“An Evil and Adulterous Generation demands a sign.” With these words, Jesus gets to the heart of unbelief. In our sinfulness, we reject the revelation God has already given and demand more. But, what more could God give than 1500 years of His divine revelation culminating in the first advent of His Son, His subsequent death and victory over the grave? In this passage, Jesus challenges our unbelief and demands that we look to the promise of the resurrection found in His Word and respond with repentance.
